Holiday Boarding — Book Before the Rush

Every year it’s the same story: the kennels fill for Thanksgiving and Christmas while plenty of families are still making travel plans. Here is the timeline that protects your pet’s spot — and your trip.

The holiday timeline, week by week.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are our two fullest weeks of the year. Work backward from your travel dates with this calendar, and your pet’s stay becomes the easy part.

When to book

Thanksgiving & Christmas: 4–6 weeks out
Our busiest weeks of the year. If your flights are booked, your pet’s stay should be too.
Spring break & summer: 2–4 weeks out
School holidays move together across Wagoner County — demand spikes the same weeks for everyone.
Holiday weekends: 1–2 weeks out
Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day fill faster than a normal weekend.
Join the waitlist
Full doesn’t always mean final — cancellations happen. Get on the list and we’ll call if a spot opens.

Before the stay

Vaccines need lead time
Bordetella and other boosters should be given at least two weeks before boarding to be protective. Check records early, not the week of the trip.
A trial night helps
A single overnight before a long holiday stay lets a new boarder learn the routine — and lets you travel without wondering.
Pair it with care
Many owners pair the stay with a dental check, vaccines, or a bath before pickup. One call handles it all: (918) 486-8387.
