Breeding & reproduction at the farm
Led by Dr. Jay Ross — 30 years of equine reproduction. The breeding program that runs at our Coweta hospital runs at your barn too: mares managed where they live, foals started where they’re born.
- Mare breeding management
- Full breeding management at the farm — cycle monitoring and timed breeding without hauling the mare.
- Ultrasound & pregnancy checks
- Portable ultrasound for breeding exams, pregnancy diagnosis, twin checks and fetal monitoring.
- Foaling support
- Foaling attendance and support at your barn, with newborn foal exams right behind it.
Everyday care at the barn
- Vaccinations & preventive care
- Vaccinations, deworming programs and wellness exams on a barn schedule.
- Coggins & health certificates
- Coggins (EIA) testing and health certificates for travel, shows, sales and interstate movement.
- Dentistry
- Equine dental exams and floats at the barn — routine and corrective work.
- Lameness evaluation
- Lameness exams where the horse lives and works, with a plan for whatever we find.
- Barn & herd wellness visits
- Whole-barn visits for breeding farms, boarding barns and multi-horse homes — every horse seen in one trip.
Emergencies & the hospital behind us
- Equine emergencies
- Farm-call and haul-in emergency care for horses. If a horse is in trouble, call us first at (918) 486-8387.
- Hospitalization
- When a case needs more than a farm call can carry, the horse hauls in to our Coweta hospital — hospitalized under veterinary supervision for the extensive cases.
- Intensive & neonatal foal care
- Intensive care for sick and newborn foals, including plasma support and close monitoring.
- Recovery & IV therapy
- Post-surgical monitoring and IV fluid therapy through recovery and treatment.
- Diagnostics on site
- In-house lab, digital X-ray and ultrasound at the hospital when the farm call turns up something deeper.
